The Hopside Down Glass
There comes a time in everyone’s life when they have to give in to civility and become the polite member of society their partner so desperately wants to shape them into. The Hopside Down is the glass of choice for those wanting to set out on the precarious crawl out of the primordial sludge of adolescence and into the big bright world of adulthood. If we’re to believe everything we read in magazines then civilised people most definitely do NOT drink straight from the bottle. This beer glass is all about compromise. It’s been hand blown by magical beer elves (or glass blowers, presumably) so that on the outside it looks like any other ordinary pint glass. Fill it up with your tipple of choice, however, and you’ll see that the inside of the glass looks like your old favourite companion, the trusty beer bottle. Sure, the bottle’s upside down and it’s not exactly the same as the real thing but you need to make sacrifices if you want to make it in the real world. In any case, after a couple of glasses you’ll probably be past caring. \
